Cindy - podiatrist in send

Meet Cindy

After graduating from the University of East London with a BSc (Hons) Podiatry in 2016, I have worked for the NHS and private practice and am registered with both the HCPC and the Royal College of Podiatry. I am a general all-rounder. This includes dealing with high risk wound care and diabetic foot assessment. I do have a special interest in Biomechanics (Gait Analysis) and Nail Surgery. The reason I became a podiatrist is to help people, as I know the importance of being mobile and being free of pain, no matter your age or lifestyle.

Improving your general foot health will help improve your quality of life and mental wellbeing, giving you the confidence and ability you need to live the fulfilling life you want!

In my free time I enjoy playing football, riding my motorbike and playing pool. I do love a bit of DIY and long walks in the countryside with my young family and our mischievous little dog.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book an appointment?

If you’d like to book an appointment, simply complete the booking form, call 07950486308 or email

What should I bring to my appointment?

For routine nail care, just bring yourself and a list of any medication that you take. If you’re undergoing gait analysis or are looking for help with a sports-related issue, please bring the shoes that you wear regularly, and any shoes that you wear when playing your sport of choice. If you’re undergoing nail surgery in Send, Surrey, please wear sliders, sandals or flip flops. Please do not drive to your surgery appointment.

Do you have parking?

You can find the Send Therapy Rooms right next to the Send Church Rooms, with a car park at the front of the building. There is also substantial parking available in the surrounding roads. Please arrive as close to your appointment time as you can and wait in your car. I will give you a call when it’s time to come in.

What is the difference between chiropody and podiatry?

Today, the words are used interchangeably but, in the past, chiropody specifically referred to the treatment of nail and skin conditions in the feet. Podiatry is a more modern term, which includes an expanded practical scope, which now includes general foot care, lower limb pain management, gait analysis and biomechanics, and nail surgery. In Send, Surrey, I offer all these treatments and more.

Can I claim back the cost of my treatment using private insurance?

You can! Payment will be required up-front, though. If you wish to claim your appointment fee back from your private medical insurance company, please check if they would cover you before booking.

If I cancel within 36 hours of my appointment, will I get a full refund for my upfront payment?

Yes you will, however if cancelled before 24 hours of your appointment you will receive 70% of your payment.
